T25 Week 5 Review

I have officially ended Alpha phase of T25. Monday I will start Beta Phase, which kicks it up a notch and adds some upper body work and weights. I still have not lost any weight this week. I have got to dial in my diet as I am not as strict as I need to be. I know that and I am trying not to get discouraged and give up. This is where I usually quit and decide I need to start over so I can do it right and better and perfect. I am trying to break the cycle and continue on. I cannot tell you how happy I am not to see Total Body Circuit again in the next 5 weeks. Happy to have all new workouts.

This coming week is Thanksgiving. We had a Thanksgiving lunch yesterday at my husbands company. I brought butterbeans and deviled eggs. It was all casseroles and desserts so since I am gluten free I couldn't even have most items. I had ham, turkey, butterbeans, broccoli salad, and tea. There was a crust less pie my husband thought was gluten free and he brought a slice for me. I didn't touch it.

We have another lunch after church. I have to bring two sides. I may take the broccoli salad and some southern peas.

I am making ham, Turkey, gluten free southern dressing, peas, fried corn, roasted sweet potatoes, and a cheesecake for Thanksgiving. I'm going to have a cheat day and then freeze stuff like leftover dressing so I don't carry it onto the next week and get off eating right.

T25 Week 4 Day 4

Today I did T25 Total Body Circuit. I'm getting so tired of this workout. It does work my body, I am just ready for a new workout. I have to do it 3 more times and I am done with it and will move on to Beta Phase. I can do that.

My diet today
B- Kind bar before workout and protein drink after workout.
S- I didn't eat one....bad
L- chicken, broccoli, zucchini
D- soup made with Thai ginger broth, chicken broth, chicken, noodles, carrots, and coconut milk. I slice gluten free bread with butter and garlic.
S- Apple with peanut butter

T25 Week 3 Day 2

Today was Speed in T25. Speed works on Cardio with high knee jumps, sprints, hop hop turns with punches, but in between incorporates stretches and stability moves. The goal is to torch calories and improve your core. I love it because it moves quickly. 

I didn't get up to walk so I'm going to add a little to my walk later today. I'll hit a couple of cul de sacs to add some time. 

In my Diet Bet she gave us an exercise routine. I'm going to do it before supper this afternoon. Your do 30 seconds of each of these moves: mountain climbers, squat jumps, crunches, push-ups, burpees, jump rope, walking lunges, and reverse lunges. I am going to add stepping on the box from my Firm video set. 

I am about to go do my 15 minutes on the elliptical. I really need to download some music for a good Playlist. 

I know it sounds like a lot, but I am breaking it up. My goal is to walk first thing in the morning, working up to running again. Then after everyone leaves for work and school doing my T25 and elliptical. Later around 4 doing a 2nd workout and then walking right before supper. I don't work and have time and have made excuses for years.  I am trying to focus on me and really work at this. I don't always have time for a 2nd workout and don't change life to do it. I just hope to do them when I can and like today be a little flexible and adjust when I can't. I made some sausage and eggs cups and had one and a half for breakfast. I just couldn't eat more. I put up the rest in freezer bags so I now have them on hand. 
For lunch I had tacos. i had some roasted zucchini I added to the tacos and it was a good filler.

T25 Week 1 and 2 review

These are horrible photos, but I was excited I could see some change  in two weeks. I've been doing T25 and I also joined a Diet Bet to help me stay motivated. I lost 9.2 lbs in two weeks.

T25 is a killer. I end drenched in sweat, and I am following the modified version. I am modifying the schedule to workout on Saturdays so I can get through T25 and Body Revolution before Spring Break.

I am adding in walking, some extra weights and elliptical this week. I am serious about getting the weight off and building muscle. I'm going to try to blog more. I've joined two more diet Bets. One started today and the other starts Nov 1.
