
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs, seperated
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups milk
box vanilla wafers
5 bananas
In a bowl combine sugar, flour, and salt, set aside. In a small bowl beat 4 egg yolks.

Begin heating double boiler. Add eggs to the boiler. Gradually add flour mixture into the eggs a small portion at a time and stir to incorporate. Alternate small amounts of milk and flour mixture until all in incorporated.

Stir constantly until mixture thickens. Once it begins to thicken add the tablespoon of butter and vanilla extract and stir well.

Put a layer of vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, pudding mixture and continue layering until all ingredients are used. Top with whipped cream or make a meringue with the egg whites and broil to brown.
