Fabric flower brooch

I have a green sweater dress the same color as this rosette. It is a short sleeve dress so I pair it with a camel colored turtleneck, some brown leggings and brown shoes. I didn't have any jewelry to match so I made my own. The rosette was a scarf that I didn't like much. I cut a strip 3 inches wide down the length of the scarf. I then folded the length in half. Starting at one end I rolled it and started twisting and rolling until I reached the end. I then tacked it together with a needle and thread and added a brooch backing. I then pulled out my different pearl necklaces and added it to the side. I love it. I thought it turned out very feminine and romantic looking.
