Ryan and I went to see Fireproof tonight (which by the way is awesome and everyone should go see it). A man in the row behind us stood up at the end with tears in his eyes and said "All of you Christians, could you please pray for me. My wife handed me divorce papers this past week and we've been married for 24 years. If you could just pray for us." In any other movie people would have just looked at him like he was crazy. He started to walk off and 2 or 3 men stopped him and said "Everyone, we're going to pray for him right now." And they began to pray in the middle of the movie theater. The group of people slowly grew into a huge group of people surrounding the man in prayer. How awesome is that? I have no clue who this man and his wife are, but Jesus does. And I'm sure this man would love it if we all prayed for him too.

A great testimony for Fireproof
This was on our church yahoo email account this morning! It is awesome that a Christian based movie is in the mainstream theaters. I pray for this gentleman and his wife- how desperate he must be to stand in a theater like this. God can change lives that look beyond hope and that is what makes us Christians believe and have faith.
