Do you know where your teens are?
Pikes Pickles has a great post I had to share. She has a thing with her teen that at any time she can call/text her and the daughter has to take a photo of what evr or where ever with her camera phone and send it back. Instead of it being a bad thing it is like a game with them and the daughter can also ask it of the mom. Go see the post and look at some of the things she has asked her daughter to take photos of. The daughter knows that at any time mom could want a photo so she better be where she is supposed to be. Cool idea! I really like that you can make it fun and do some crazy things like make them do something silly or find something blue. She didn't say that, but it would be fun. We don't have texting that is free so would need to add that or I guess just pay the $.15 that it costs us.

Ahhh, thanks for sharing my post. This is alot of fun. Its kind of like a scavenger hunt but you have to be where you said you were going to be in order to win.
With my luck my 13 yo would send me a pic of her rolling her eyes!!!! LOL
BTW, I love and adore Auburn!! I did however grace the campus of UA with my presence for Grad school, so technically I am an Alum of both schools.....so maybe we can still chat!!!!

Hello, I am a friend of crazy in alabama. I think thats a great idea. I don't know if I can get the almost 18 year old to do it, but I can probably convence the 13 year old to do it. Oh and I'm with CIA on this.....

Hey, once you start texting or letting your kids text - get the unlimited plan! You will save in the end & hopefully not get a bill over several hundred dollars. I've been there!

That is a good idea. My kids are not to that point yet. About the weight thing, I did not do very well this week. I went for a walk one day then I kinda blew it. I didn't weigh so I don't even know how much I weigh. I'm going to do better this week. It is our Spring Break and we are going to try to get active.
Great idea too bad I didn't have this idea with my older 3... the youngest is always on a basketball court!
Sorry to be a downer but I can't believe this works for teenagers. My 17 year old daughter would have a bunch of pics saved up in her phone just to use for checking in. Kids are really smart these days and know all the technical angles.
This is an excellent idea. As so many parents have learned though. THere is not any way to be absouletely certain. What her mother know for sure is the phone is where her daughter says it is , or where the photo is being taken. Kids swap phones all the time to cover tracks. Just keep in mind unless you have raised great kids or your a fly on the shoulder they only thing that is certain is that the phone is there.
