April 1 Kroger

I LOVE this deal!!!!!

I got 3 cake mixes, 4 Betty Crocker potatoes, 3 Hot Pocket, 1 Hot Pocket Calzone,
3 Lipton rice sides, Progresso soup, 3 bags pretzels, 4 Goldfish, 2 Cheeze Its, 2 Kroger pop tarts, cottonelle, 4 Bun size Ballpark franks (99 each!), 2 pkg buns, 1 loaf bread, Lg pack Hunts pudding cups, 4- 1/2 gallon milks(1.77 each), Low Carb Bryers icecream,& pkg banana nut muffins for $36.66 with tax- Hate tax!!!! Florida didn't have tax on food. And you know this would have been lower if I didn't count my non coupon necceties like milk and bread and hot dogs. I know about some of you people. You buy those things in a different transaction so you can make your total lower. You need a life!

We are at the ball field every day with baseball and the gold fish and quick stuff will help get us fed. I am going back to get another 30 items. I had on cute pointy shoes and I stood all morning while giving the SATs so my feet hurt. I went by CVS and Rite Aid and ALL the free after rebate and ECBs were gone. Can't ya leave some for me? Hope they restock by Saturday.

We don't have Kroger's here.

We do have Walgreens, and I've just discovered all the deals people do. I went today and got the catalog and flyer... we'll see.

Great job! I spent $150 the last two weeks, and the basket was only half full! So depressing.

I had a fabulous Kroger trip yesterday too! Got $75 down to $15 with sales, coupons and a $20 transfer prescription credit.

I wish we had a Kroger. They seem to have really good deals. Food Lion is okay sometime but I have to drive 30 minutes to get there. I go there once a week because a gallon of milk is $2.99 which is significantly cheaper and I buy 3 or 4 gallons at a time. But Kroger seems to be the best.

Followed your trail from Moneysavingmom..I had to laugh when I read about 2 transactions to make the deal look better. I thought of "adjusting" those items off my total and then thought, goodness girl, get a grip!

Thank you for sharing your blog! It was a fun read.
