Garage sale- Happy Dance Edition!

A big welcome to those visiting from Rhoda's at Southern Hospitality. I got these 5 wall hangings for $2.50 each! They were spread out around her yard. I asked how much for two and she said $5.00. I started scanning wondering if I saw any of the other shoppers start to run if I could take um'. I quietly asked if she would do the same price on each one, and told her I wanted them before the other people could move. You know, it is too early to mess my hair up fighting people.

I paid $.50 for this. I am going to paint it white and paint the letters black and distress it.

I paid $2 for this. I think Pottery Barn or Ballards had something like it. Too bad it has to go to the attic until Christmas.

I bought all of these for $2.00.

These were $1 for both. I am going to paint the starfish white and put it in the turquoise, kind of has a beach theme, half bath downstairs. Not sure about the caddy. We moved the desk out of my daughter's room and it is in my kitchen. I am going to paint it. This will probably end up on that desk.

I paid $9 for these lamps. They are taller than they look, and they are the same heighth. We bought my daughter a bedroom suite and are getting rid of the daybed and white girl furniture. I am painting the new set black. These are for her. I thought I might add a ribbon trim on them eventually.

Oh my! I saw this at Sams last summer. I wanted it so badly. It was $30 and just too much to pay for an occasional item. I drooled everytime I went in. So, when I looked down and saw the box and then opened it and it is new, never used I almost couldn't contain myself. She had $8 and I offered $6 and she countered $7 so I paid that. Pretty good deal because I will rarely see this again. And I WANTED it, desperately.

Aeropostle jeans for 13 year old $1.00

$1 for this cross. I have a set of 5 on my foyer wall.

$.25 for the platter and $.10 for the new package of napkins. I like to buy platters to have for taking something to someone as a gift or a meal to someone. Cheaper than plastic or paper stuff.

I paid $1 for this. It is heavy. I will probably paint it and see if my daughter's room if she wants it. If not I will paint it a different color and just find somewhere for it.

$1 for some shoes in my favorite color.

A really big Christmas star decoration for $8. We have a big palladian window over our door. I want the Sams HUGE wreath that is $100 so maybe this will satisfy me for awhile. Maybe, maybe not.

I love your finds. Especially the wall hangings and the cross. I have a collection of crosses on my wall in the living room. I have got to start looking for some stained glass and wall hangings myself. I really think I need to garage sell more and shop for real less!!

I love the wall hangings. They are beautiful. I didn't really have much luck today. I bought a light fixture (one that I have been looking at a Lowe's for $98) I paid $15. I bought MaCi Clare a dress and 3 pair of pants for .25 each. And I bought 4 Hen and Chicks plants for .25 each. So not so much today.

Wow!!

You got a lot of good loot, I mean treasures, for not much money!!

Great job. I really love the wall hangings and that tree need not be in the closet till Christmas. Just decorate it with something now.
Or, don't decorate it at all. It's lovely.

Barbara jean

Your metal wall decor was definitely a good find! Your glass drink dispenser was not a bad price, considering what it sells for new- would be good for my sangria! *grin*
Glad you didn't have to mess your hair up in a fight for the goodies...

OMG! I have been looking for that wire Christmas tree for ages. Don't put it in the attic. It works great to store all your kiddos hairbows on. Just hang on the wall and clip the bows on.

Oh my gosh. If one can lust over an inanimate object, I am lusting over the wall art.

I need a cigarette now. ;-)

Seriously, those are so ridiculously awesome and as for the tree, I'd hang that year round.

Excellent finds.
