Help me hang my plates

I have a bunch of plates (over 10) that I want to hang and feel like a real dufus because the only plate hangers that I can find are the ones above. They are for the size that the plates are and when you put them on see how the part where you need to hang it is below the ridge of the back of the plate? Well, that prevents you from being able to hang the plate. Are we missing something? Is there another type hanger? Please help me hang my plates. I see the Nester hangs bowls and other things. I want to, too. My naked walls are crying for some jewelry.

Hey, I think I have the solution for you. Take something like a screwdriver or you may be able to just bend it, but pull that straight piece out and bend it out slightly enough to hang on a nail. You should be able to get it, I have to do that all the time too. Most of them have a little V shape but yours look like they are straight. Is there a V on the other side? Bend that thing out!

Do what Rhoda says she knows what she is talking about :)

I use heavy duty velcour, it has worked great for tole trays, I haven't tried in heavy plates.

Thanks, Rhoda, I don't have time tonight because I am preparing for Bible Study tomorrow but I will sure try it.

Michelle- velcro? With kids running and slamming doors they stay up? Wow!

I am also thinking of just stringing wire from the two springs.

Any other ideas? Keep them coming.
