Grilled shrimp

GRILLED SHRIMP - MARINATED

1 c. olive oil.
Juice of 3 lemons
1/4 c. soy sauce.
1/4 c. parsley.
3 tsp. tarragon.
3 tsp. garlic powder
Cut down back of each shrimp shell. Devein, but do not remove shell. Wash and drain. Place in covered container. Add marinade. Marinate for 2-4 hours in refrigerator. Tossing now and then to mix well. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Grill about 5 minutes.

We brought back 8 lbs of shrimp from Mobile when we went on the cruise. Actually, we raided my MIL's freezer- she was at my house in Huntsville so she couldn't stop me. She gets it from people that go out shrimping.

Thank you sweet friend! Sounds yummy and just what I needed!

Do you use 1# of shrimp per recipe? Thanks so much!

I'm sure your mil didn't mind!;)

Many blessings dear one!!

It is something like that:) Yes, for the recipe, but if mine is 1# I have no clue!

I have another recipe that you do in the oven. Lay the shrimp on a baking pan and drizzle with olive oil and then sprinkle with seasoning- it can be salt and pepper, cayenne, greek seasoning, anything! and then squeeze a lemon if you want- not too much. Broil till you see the shrimp is not opaque anymore. Add butter if you want. Do you like my directions? This is seriously how I cook, I don't think I ever totally follow a recipe- I add or delete depending on my taste or what I have.

Yes, they both sound delish. I think most southern ladies cook this way.

We learn to be flexible!LOL!

I always (well, almost) have a base recipe (unless Im creating my own) and then modify it (just as you do).

Thanks again for the VS deal......looks like I got it just in time!

Blessings!!!!!
