Anyone have a good recipe...

...for rabbit stew? Look what he did to my green beans and butter beans!
Look, he got full and only ate a few of these. I know, I know, fencing. We have fencing. It is curled up over on the side of the house. And, no rabbits have touched anything by it either. Maybe one day we will not have work, ball games, remodeling, or church and we can put up the fencing. My tomatoes are doing well.
Three days ago the tomotoes were just to the 2nd bar on the cage. That one is almost a three bar mater plant now!
My two squash plants are getting big. That is marigold on the left, not weeds. My carrots did not come up again.
Look at the ladybug. If it wasn't for her I might have stomped all the way into the house and slammed the door and said bad garden words.
I noticed this funky vine is growning on the house. Kindof pretty, huh? My husband will think we are trash and have to get it down.

Is that vine alive?

I will have to ask my Father in Law what he does to keep the bunnies away. I don't think they get into our garden much.

I think you can put cayenne pepper around plants for squirrels. May work for bunnies too. Also you could plant some kind of hot peppers in each bed. I've heard that works too.

I am so sorry about your garden. But thank you for sharing the photo of the lady bug. I love those cheerful little red critters!

Be blessed.

en. Who's "en"? She sounds a little goofy. Like maybe she can't even spell her own name.

Oh - that bunny rabbit is soooo naughty! I love what Jennifer commented!

We rarely see the red lady bugs - I think they must have all moved away!

Fencing might just work - those bunnies can be very sneaky though!

Have a great day!

No recipe for Rabbit Stew here. I'm sure that you can find one on Hillbilly Housewife, though. Never had much of a taste for rabbit myself.

I do love the garden beds. One of these days, I'll have something like that. For now, I have tomatoes growing in a pot on my deck.

I'm laughing about your bunny, even though I know it's not funny...My dad plants a big garden every year and he's always fussing about the rabbits and deer....

Pesky Wabbit, anyway! I had the same problem last summer, only mine was a pesky squirrel eating my newly planted petunias. I was definitely looking for the pellet gun.
Hope you find a remedy.
Happy Sunday.
Brenda :)
