Lite Posting

Why does it always seem to come in all at one time? My husband is returning today from a week long business trip. Our game last night was rained out and rescheduled for Sunday. We have a lot of projects to complete and things to do to prepare for guests coming Monday for our daughter's graduation. Tonight we have two baseball games and a football game. We have concession duty for 4 hours tomorrow with another baseball game then a church graduation party for all the seniors. Sunday we now have a game that afternoon. Around the house I have to get it cleaned and food prepared. I have to prepare everything for a graduation party- food and decorations. We are building a fire pit for the party Tuesday night. Our yard needs more work. We need another coat of paint on the half bath. We were hoping to remove the Master vanity and take our new one up- it is over 300 lbs. I feel like it is all closing in on me. I painted a chandalier and 4 ceiling lights black and need to add the accent paint on them to make them look like the oil rubbed bronze fixtures. So, this is where I will be and what we are up to this weekend.

To lessen the stress I think I am going to head to Sams and just buy some things like pigs in a blanket and other finger type items for after graduation. I am ordering a cake- wish Tracye was near.

Oh sister I feel for you...I've been in situations like yours many times over. In the end, everything gets done and things turn out beautifully.

Hope you take a few minutes to sit back and relax...take a long walk or a hot bath to rejuvinate yourself...it helps.

OH. MY. GOODNESS.

You have a lot on your plate this weekend!

I would totally make you a cake... I so wish I were closer so that would be one less stress for you.

I'll be praying for you. I know God will give you creative ideas and double your efficiency so you can get everything done.

Just make sure, above all else, you enjoy this time. Five years from now nobody will remember what the house looked like or what food you served, but they will remember you and your family's hospitality... and how gorgeous your daughter looked, of course!
