Did anyone buy the Kroger gift card to get the bonus bucks? They are offering $30 if you buy a $300 card, $60 for $600, and $120 for $1200. I bought the $600 card and earned $60 extra bucks. I figured that I will use $600 pretty easily and so I might as well get the extra bonus money. Kroger is the closest grocery store and a mile or less away so we end up running there when out of bread or need something.
This is one of the great benefits of reaching the point where you have an emergency fund and extra money available. You can further increase your savings because you can invest ahead in things or pay cash when things are available.
