Alabama Jubilee

This morning we got up really early and rode to Decatur, Alabama for the Alabama Jubilee. They launch hot air balloons at 6:30 and then again at 5:00 each day. Today there was bad weather to the south of us so the balloons did not launch or offer the free rides up and down. We still had a good time watching them air up the balloons and seeing all the pretty colors. We had funnel cakes for breakfast. Yummy!

Oh wow, I have always wanted to go in a hot air balloon. But at the same time, I am also terrified at the thought!

Balloons are beautiful, too bad the weather didn't cooperate. The funnel cakes look yum! I grew up in the south and my husband is from AL...looking further at your posts and seeing those AL pj pants from the garage sale let's me know it's ok to say "ROLL TIDE" :)
