I burnt my cookies

So, you burnt your cookies and are about to throw them in the trash....wait! Get out your grater and grate off the burnt part. Who in their right mind would throw away cookies? Geesh!

I have done that before, sometimes though they still taste burnt. :(

Thanks for sharing the tip!

Thanks for the tip! I do that with burnt toast, too. :D I hate to waste anything. You could crumble on top of ice cream, pudding, etc, or just dunk away!

This is such a great tip. I use the grater on biscuits that I always end up burning no matter how I make them. Simply scrape and they looks good as new! I never thought to try with cookies. Thanks for the tips! By the way, I love your blog header. What a beautiful family photo!

Sherry, I wanted to add that you are not grating up the whole cookie, just grate off the burnt part.

Sonshine- you must really be burning yours! If fire or heavy smoke was involved there is probably no hope.

Donna- I do the same with biscuits and toast and other things also. Thanks for reminding me with a mention!
