Apparently if you play X-Box while your 15 year old, untrained, friend takes a needle and sticks it in your ear it is less painful. No, my 15 year old does not have his ear pierced. He was the one with the needle. How did we find out? When the boys parents told us Sunday morning. Isn't it lovely to raise boys? They lose all common sense during teenage years. I asked him, "WHY?!?" and he said that the boys mom said she didn't care if he got his ear pierced. Do you think she would have preferred the free ear piercing at the mall or a teenager with no sense? Apparently the boys father wasn't on board and made the kid take out the earring. My husband suggested salt rubbed into the hole for a little added pain.
I have 10 more years till they all leave, well, not leave maybe but they will all be 18. I hope I can make it through. I know, this isn't big, it is just that you finally feel like they are at an age making pretty good decisions and you can loosen up on them and trust them and then BAM! they remind you they still need a mommy.... and a lock on the outside of their door.

Oh, yes...
With a 15 yo and 13 yo, we're just hitting this stage. Even honor students lose all COMMON sense some days.
eeeuwww, I've got all this to come and not looking forward to it
thanks for popping by, I'd lost your blog and enjoyed reading it and I didn't see you on the blog circuit, just adding you to my sidebar so it doesn't happen again
