My really good friend who lives in Papua New Guinea came back into town for the weekend. She and her daughter stayed with another dear friend this time, who also moved up from Niceville. Mrs. Bobbie has two daughters a couple of years younger than me. She is one of the first women I met when we moved to Niceville in 1994. She was always one of my biggest cheerleaders- something I needed since my mom had passed away and I was learning how to be a mom and wife. It is really sweet to watch Mrs. Bobbie with her husband. He lights up when she is around. When we were preparing to leave for the day he put a lawn chair in our trunk and we started to back out. She rolled down the window and yelled to him that he forgot something. He looked puzzled and walked over and she puckered up for her kiss.
We all went up to Monte Sano mountain for a Quiznos picnic. It is so nice up on the mountains. I can't wait till the fall. Then, we went by a Farmers Market to check out all the produce. Later, my daughter, my good friend, Michele, and her daughter, Rachel, went to see The Dark Night.
They left Monday to take Rachel to college. Michele will stop back by in a couple of weeks before heading back to Papua New Guinea. It has been so good to see them. Luckily, she and her husband will return in December for a 6 month furlow.

Great pictures. I would love to have a girls' day. But right now, we are so busy. Glad you got to spend some time with your friends.
Hi Everyone!!! I do wish it would've worked out for me to join the party. It's been so long since I've seen all of you!
Alas... life is c*r*a*z*y here! It's not all us... really. We have some ministry opportunities within our church fellowship that are keeping us on our toes right now... besides all our normal stuff. That's okay, though. It's important.
Looks like you all had a grand time together. I'm really glad it worked out.
Hugs to all...
Looks like you had a really fun day!
Great pics and post!
Very cool photos!
Now I am going to google New Guinnea and see where it is.
Take care!
Jen
I'll also try to spell it right when I Google it.
jen- there is a New Guinea on another continent- Papua New Guinea is near Australia. Half of the island is Indonesian, and the other half is the country of Papua New Guinea.
