I AM ALONE!

I am actually sitting all alone in my home! It is a first. I don't have the tv on. I don't have any music. Just the quiet noises of me. THAT IS ALL! My dad came Wednesday and took 4 of my kids to his condo at the beach. They will come back tomorrow. My oldest daughter went to see the new Batman movie. She will return with "everyone" so I will not be alone long and better enjoy it. Wanna see what I have been doing today? okay....

I am in the middle of painting these for my 12 year old Drama Queen. My oldest daughter is working on the "D" and left to go to the movies. I am taking a break before finishing. I am doing the right hand part of the "V" in stripes, but need to find painter's tape because a ruler doesn't work. My daughter is freehanding the "D" lines but I want a more crisp line. I struggle with perfectionism. That is hard when you aren't as good as your ability to think. Understand that? My mind is more creative than my arms.

While I paint I get to look at these. And smell these. This is what I got for our anniversary.

Very pretty!! The flowers and the letters. I totally understand though, my brain thinks it can do much more than my arems and hands really can. :)

The hearing couldn't have gone better! We knew they were ruling for his goal to change to adoption. We are simply awaiting the adoption hearing now - we are ready for the conclusion!!! Should be before Fall.

hi I enjoyed skipping back through your posts and your story, I too am very interested in frugal living, although with 3 kids it's not as tricky as with 5...I am been living pretty frugally since we married 14 years ago and now we are starting to see the benefits, it sure builds up over those years. After a couple of splurges over the last few months, we are all set to tighten up again until Christmas

I've enjoyed seeing your decorating and house pics, wow you have some gorgeous furniture, and I'd love a house that big...the potential must be nice to work with...

thanks for popping into my blog too

Hi there

Thank you for putting your comment on my blog. It is so nice to get no know people outside Norway, and to do that it is convenient to have a Google Translater on the page. But really - the translation is sometimes hilarious. I have been laughing a hole lot myself. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. Anyway, it is easier for me to do it this way, than to translate the whole post each time.

Those letters are very nice. And nice flowers too. Happy 20th anniversary to you both. I myself was married in 10 years and sadly got divorced. Today I have found my perfect match.

Love to hear from you again.
