I won, oh yeah, I won.

Are you dancing yet? I won a $10 CVS gift card from the show and tell on BecentsAble site. Check out the post by the Happy Housewife and all the great shopping trips that are linked to the show and tell.

BecentsAble hosts the grocery gathering and links to the other sites that post store sales each week. You can also see their weekly menus for ideas on feeding your family on a budget.

Happy Housewife keeps up with the commissary deals and if following the Dave Ramsey plan. She shares crafts and gardening ideas.

Thank you ladies and I am really excited to win!

I am a newbie with the CVS stuff, and did not feel so good after my first trip last week. I bought 3 Aveeno products, 3 Olay products, and the CVS pain reliever. I got bucks of 5, 10 , and 3.99 for that. But if you count up the price of those expensive olay and aveeno items, it wasn't really worth it. I could do better buying just the store brand items that I really need (like at Walmart). I feel I am missing something....Can you help?

Jackie- I would love for you to add me to the blogs you read, that is such an honor that you like to visit.

anonymous- with the CVS start small. These aveeno ond olay deals are better if you have more ECBs (extra care bucks) and coupons for $10 of $50 or the $3 off $10 beauty products that are printed out on some of your receipts with purchase. At first, I did the things that were the monthly deals where you received the whole amount of the product back in ECBs, or items that were free when you combined your earned ECBs and coupons. Also, break up your transactions so that you receive some ECBs and use those to pay for your next transaction. It creates a roll over affect that reduces the amount of out of pocket you pay. Crystal at http://biblicalwomanhoodonline.com/blog.htm has a great tutorial for beginners to CVS if you have not seen it. After you get going with shopping, you may want to purchase more than one Sunday paper or order extra coupons online. Gathering your initial coupons takes time. Let me know if you have any more questions and I would be glad to answer them.
