Briaded Stromboli

I had a Pillsbury pizza crust that I got very cheap after double coupons so I used it to make us a pizza stromboli for lunch. Unroll the pizza crust or make one of your favorite homemade pizza doughs and roll it into a rectangle. Place your filling down the center of the length of the rectangle. I used pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni, but it would be really good to make a meat stromboli with hamburger and peppers and onions. You could also make a bbq one, a fajita one, a meat with carrots and potatoes with a gravy base. Remember- recipes are for dummies, just throw stuff in and see how it comes out! Live on the wild side. Okay, back to cookin. After placing filling down the center of the rectangle, make slits almost to your filling on each side about 1 1/2 inches apart. Alternate folding the strips over the filling slightly angling towards one end. This creates a braid on top. I peeked at some recipes and you are to brush on egg white on the top. Me, I didn't have an egg to waste so we disobeyed the rules. Bake according to package directions which I don't remember. Don't worry if you don't have a package- turn the oven on and try not to burn it.
