Our House for Christmas

Come on in! How fun is it that we get to visit each other's homes and we don't even have to take off our PJs? Join in over at Southern Hospitality for the party. First off I have my card holder. I can't wait until it is full of cards from friends.
This is our foyer. We have our dining table and buffet in here so that we could have another bedroom. I need to look out for a taller tree or arrangement of some type, but until then, this is it.

This was my mom's grandmother's dresser. The table and buffet above were bought by my parents when they first got married. The table has 3 leaves and seats 14. It looks like Stickley Furniture but I do not have a mark anywhere so I think it is a look alike.

Moving into the music, video playin, movie watchin front room. We closed off the opening between it and the original dining room when we made a bedroom. It also gave us this wall for the piano.

Into the kitchen. I have tried to edit to white, red, and green. We still need to finish the doors. I wouldn't mind a couple of open cabinets but never a whole roomful. Everything gets so dirty.

Our family room is open to the kitchen. This nativity is on the console at the garage door entry.

Countdown to Santa. But, we don't do Santa, so it is just till Christmas, when Jesus was born.

I bought this nativity when I was first out on my own. A house in my husband's neighborhood opened their home for a craft sale each year. The man cut these out and the lady painted them. It was in the late 80's. My kids have played with these, moving the people all around.
